I wish I could see an implosion in general. Some of the casinos got a nice farewell with the countdown.

I wonder what the "clear" radius is around one?

And why is it that implosions happen at night?

Yeah, I can see the Discovery channel showing something like this. You're probably right.

That was kind of sad for me. I stayed in over half of those places. They didn't necessarily deserve to survive, but I am sorry that they are gone....

If you stayed at some of those casinos, they probably aired the Vegas implosions on a History Channel program. (I couldn't resist. I did learn from the best! )

In all seriousness though, at least you have cool memories of some of them. Lucky you!
