Yup! AC makes all the difference in the world. I'd be dying without AC. Swamp coolers just don't cut it either. AZ is famous for our dry heat but when the Monsoons hit, like they are right now (it's pouring out there right now), the swamp coolers are sucking in very wet air and does nothing but make you soaking wet with sweat. Nasty! Try and stay

Good Morning gang:Been a long time since anyone has shared what has been going on with them here in this thread.I am settled in for a long Winter ahead of me, but had a wonderful Summer complete with family and friends and many road trips.The days have grown shorter, and I find myself looking forward to the Holidays.  My house is all decked out for Halloween, and I am putting on Thanksgiving dinner this year for the whole family. So much to look forward to.This Christmas will mark my 3rd Christmas with No Deposit Forum, and how time fles when your having fun.This really is a great time in my life, I have a job I love, my health is good, my family is good, and I am feeling good mentally.I keep good thoughts here for all my friends at No Deposit Forum that their life too is filled with good times and blessings.Please stop in and share what has been going on in your neck of the woods over the Summer and as we look towards the Holidays.Thanks for reading.(One more thing....I slipped in a selfish request to my maker for a few more free chips for all of us. How are you feeling today implies that perhaps you weren't feeling well or that someone wants to know how you feel that particular day whereas how do you feel could be asked when someone wants someone's opinion about something. Ex. How do you feel about the Lakers winning? It can also be used when asking about one's physical well being.

Good Morning everyone. How am I feeling today? COLD. LOL Most of Michigan is under snow, and very cold. Blowing wind, and more snow today. Although the long term forecast promises to be warmer next week, you have to get thru this stuff first.

The holiday season is here, and I couldn't be happier. Slowly putting up decorations, and preparing for a nice big Thanksgiving dinner at my house. Will have about 8 people. Turkey and all the trimmings. (Then it is turkey soup, turkey loaf, turkey sandwiches, and turkey surprise.)

In this busy time of year, remember to stop and enjoy it. It goes so fast.

This new forum is amazing, just saying.

I am also hoping for a better Year. Fibromyalgia is a horrible disease. Some people look at as a lazy disease. Well I am here to tell you it is the most painful disease. I feel like I may have MS at times. I am now on narcotic pain pills to help with my pain but it gives me major anxiety attacks and it feels like I am having a heart attack and with my mechanical heart valve that is not good so I can hardly take those either, so basically I suffer through the pain. I guess that's why I stay online to try to take my mind off things. Here's to hoping everyone has a better year this year and feel much better and have much better days! God Bless!

My heart goes out to you slotgal. I struggle with chronic pain as well, different reasons and not as constant as yours I'm sure, but I know enough about it to know people who don't just don't get it.

I am so sorry to hear we have members that are hurting. I know pain well. In July I tore the meniscus in my knee and it took 8 weeks before they were convinced I needed surgery. (The tear didn't show up on the MRI) Then months of recovery, and just now as of the past couple of weeks, I am pain free. Pain is a terrible thing, and in worse case scenerios, it makes us into the person we just don't want to be. I'm so so sorry we have members hurting.

Prayers sent out for those of you who are hurting.

OK - I am really just kidding. My wife suffers from fibromyalgia (sp) - and yes, it is difficult to accept and believe, but it is real.

I hope that y'all find something better than those killer pain pills - those kick my a$$. If I take enough to relieve the pain, they make me very barfy....

I have been kinda busy lately. Haven't been able to be here as much as I enjoy.

Down to my Brother and Sister in laws keeping house and taking care of my two very sick Nephews. Cold, cough, and fever. My Sister in law works a very full time job as does my Brother and can't miss work, so that is where I come in. They pay me well, and are very good to me, but let me just say......I AM POOPED. lol

I am not a Mom as I never had any children. Wow, this stuff is hard work. lol

As of today, I am showing signs of getting a cold, as is my Brother. The kids like to share the sickness I guess.

Well, I am here for at least another week.

Well, better run....laundry to do, and a sink full of dishes just waiting for me.

My Brother and Sister in law are what you call, unorganized. No rhyme or reason to anything. My brother is the type who never picks up after himself. I could go on. I am earning my money. lol

These poor kids, the fever goes away, and it comes right back. Dr. says nothing to worry about yet. Just wipes their little bodies out.

I am trying really hard to not get sick. Pray for me. lol

Well if that is what you are dealing with, my house wouldn't be to much of a shock. I also have a man that doesn't pick up a single thing.
Mine seems to think I should have plenty of time and energy to do it "since all I do all day is sit in front of the computer" (never mind that when I'm sitting in front of the computer it's because I happen to be at work!)

I hope the kids feel better soon, poor babies. Hopefully you don't catch it too!
