inetbet info for US players

just wanted to let any US players know that if you cash out from inetbet, you won't have the option to get a check aka overnight express. so i would just advise you to have a QT account or ewalletexpress. i dont use ewalletexpress because of past misunderstandings. my QT account is also having issues which are almost resolved. my point being i tried to cash out $400 but was out of luck. i could have left the money in my account and waited for QT to clear but who knows how long that could take. don't get me wrong--last time i cashed out $1000 at inetbet it went very smooth in to my QT account. i was just disappointed that i couldn't get a check sent to me. it didn't even have to be overnight. ACH transfers are not available either. just wire transfers which i couldn't do much with. for the record i will add inetbet offered to help me reopen my QT account which was very nice of them but that was already in the process and was just a matter of time. earlier this year i cashed out from superslots casino and they sent my checks FEDEX no problemo. just giving US players a little heads up. all in all, if you ask me i will still say inetbet ROCKS! great casino. all they are missing is the live chat. and that is pretty important to a lot of people including myself. i guess the super low minimum deposits make up for it.

its funny that you mentioned that because i was thinking the problem i had only happens to me because i don't have a good history with bank accounts. so my problem is that i use my account now prepaid visa as my bank account and they only accept ACH transfer and not wire transfer. QT only option to withdraw is wire transfer. so of course my money is stuck in my wallet and i had no choice but to go on a mission exploring different casinos making deposits here and there until i blew it all. i had around 2400 to play with cuz i cashed out 1000 at inetbet then 1400 from all star slots the next day. they both paid very fast by the way. i dont know if this helps but i just had to share that story with everyone!

This explains things a little... US whistleblower body has a bee in its bonnet about Internet gamblingThe little known Corporate Whistleblower Center in the United States insists in rather extravagant language that it has dropped the hammer on Internet gambling and that the party is over this week....without going into any substantiating detail other than a general desire to see the global industry shut down. The group boasts that since 2006 it has been doing everything possible to call attention to online Internet gambling in order to shut it down. These Internet casinos, and or Internet gambling sites are primarily run by the Russian Mafia, and/or organized crime syndicates, & they are a cancer, the US can do without, it said in a statement, again without offering a shred of evidence to back it's rather scary claims. Now the group is calling on the US Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service to get involved ....before something really bad happens. That something really bad, according to the Corporate Whistleblower Center, includes: identity theft of millions of Americans personal information. The statement goes on to accuse US authorities of being asleep at the switch', a rather harsh judgement bearing in mind the energetic efforts since 2006 of federal authorities. But in an almost surrealistic claim to fame, the Center goes on to say: We got so far as to identify, and shut down the largest European Internet money transfer service, we got the second biggest German bank, & the biggest US bank wiring money, or sending checks, to US citizens, all in open violation of the law. And the Feds did noting (sic) .This wildly uninformed body then turn to the land gambling industry, suggesting that Vegas giants and tribal casinos alike should take note that online gambling is aggravating the economic recession and hurting their businesses. It's billions of US dollars. Millions of very foolish US citizens completely give up their identification information, in the process of retrieving winnings. Worst of all, most of the biggest players are the Russian Mafia, or organized crime syndicates, the statement reiterates. Just as bad, none of the winnings, or losses are taxed by any state, or by the IRS. The what we will call casinos in the loosest form, rake in billions every month from US citizens & they pay no tax. Even worse, these are criminal enterprises designed to cheat people. Taking federal enforcement back to 'Investigation 101', the Center suggests that FBI and IRS agents furnish themselves with a fresh set of ID and then mount a sting operation against online casinos, betting small, not taking bonuses and then tracing the money when winnings are sent. We want you to watch every aspect of the transaction, the Center emphasises. On the outgoing side of the bet, or wager, there will be a US bank involved as the transfer agent, in most cases. On the incoming side there will be a US bank that writes the winnings check to you, or a US bank will in most cases wire the proceeds into your account-again as a transfer agent.

Speculation that the imminent implementation of the UIGEA regulations is the motivationGolden Casino.com has advised its players that it is to leave the US market with effect from December 1st, which is the date on which US banks must cease processing online gambling transactions as the UIGEA regulations comes into effect. Vegas Tech-powered Golden Casino is widely believed to have been set up by the Golden Palace group in order to access the US market after the UIGEA was approved by Congress in 2006. The notification to players advises them that from December 1st the online casino will not be accepting new accounts from US residents. The decision to leave the US market may also be connected with recent reports that e-processors believed to have been associated with Golden Casino have been the subjects of US federal enforcement actions . Existing accounts do not appear - at this stage anyway - to be affected by the decision, but exchanges on player message boards are already speculating on the advisability of leaving accounts open, especially where these contain credit balances. The company has assured both players and affiliates that all monies owed will be paid. US pull-out follows sale to an undisclosed buyer Communications to marketing affiliates of Golden Casino.com have thrown further light on yesterday's reports that the operation is to refuse new US members effective December 1st . The communication advises that the change in business model has been motivated by a change of ownership - the buyer is not disclosed - and notifies affiliates that ...in light of recent events one of our clients, Golden Casino, is in the process of being sold, and under the new ownership, Golden Casino will no longer be accepting new players as of December 1, 2009. Please note, however, this decision does not affect existing Golden Casino players and youll continue to be paid on their losses as long as the casino remains in operation. This clients decision does not affect the other 3 brands we represent (Online Vegas, GOCasino and Crazy Slots). The operators of these properties have reaffirmed their committment to continue operating within the US market so I wanted to make sure that you would have sufficient time to change your links and campaigns in order to promote the other 3 brands prior to December 1.

Beer? oh you bet queenmap - just bring a chair and your money honey! and maybe we should all keep the following in mind too so we don't get boonswaggled (is that a word?) is now! LOL I have put the paragraphs most important to me first. It bears repeating that the Act itself does not make any gambling activity illegal, wrote Judge Dolores Sloviter. Whether the transactionconstitutes unlawful Internet gambling turns on how the law of the state from which the bettor initiates the bet would treat that bet, i.e. if it is illegal under that states law, it constitutes unlawful Internet gambling under the Act.The court made it clear - gambling on the Internet is unlawful where state law says so. But there are only a half-dozen states which have laws against Internet gambling, leaving 44 states where it is potentially lawful. Its not perfect, but its a good start. That is all I need to know. UIGEA Upheld by US 3rd Circuit, but States Determine i-Gaming Legal Status
Sept. 1, 2009 - The US 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) of 2006, rejecting arguments that the law was vague and intruded on individual privacy rights. The law was challenged by the Washington, DC-based trade association Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association (iMEGA), on the behalf of the Internet gambling industry. In their decision, the judges clarified that the legality of Internet gambling transactions depended on state law where the bettor was located, and the laws where the betting operator was located. The court emphasized that UIGEA did not establish a blanket Federal ban on Internet gambling. It bears repeating that the Act itself does not make any gambling activity illegal, wrote Judge Dolores Sloviter. Whether the transactionconstitutes unlawful Internet gambling turns on how the law of the state from which the bettor initiates the bet would treat that bet, i.e. if it is illegal under that states law, it constitutes unlawful Internet gambling under the Act. Joe Brennan Jr., iMEGAs chairman, said that while the associations members were disappointed that the court did not overturn the law, they felt there was a silver lining to the courts ruling. The court made it clear - gambling on the Internet is unlawful where state law says so. But there are only a half-dozen states which have laws against Internet gambling, leaving 44 states where it is potentially lawful. Its not perfect, but its a good start. Brennan also noted that, in deferring to state law, the courts decision is consistent with traditional gambling law in the US. States have always held the power to regulate gambling in this country, not the Federal government. The courts ruling seems to say back to the future when it comes to regulating Internet gambling, so we will turn our attention to the states to make the case that this industry can be properly regulated and produce badly needed tax revenue. Brennan also said iMEGAs legal team would review the ruling and make recommendations on a possible appeal. Link
