First time I had a paper straw was when I was in Buena Park a couple of weeks ago. And you all pay for grocery bags in CA?

Because I thought both were strange (plastic straws and free grocery bags over here in AZ), it made me realize I need to become more "environment-friendly" aware and do my part to help our planet.

I rarely have to deal with the straw situation, but we do bring our own bags to the grocery store. They sell reusable plastic ones for 10 cents ea if you need more. I don't qualify as a tree-hugger, but we do recycle as much as possible
