I have had computer issues for quite some time and can't get anything to work..........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrMy computer will not allow me to download   ANY RIVALS  or to  play rtg tourneys via silverlight.There is a glitc somewhere and I've tried many things with no luck.If you are computer savy and can advise PLEASEEEEEEEEE  do so ,Thanks, T

Firewall probably needs to be disable while downloading. Be sure not to have anything else open when Firewall is disable. Like crazy stated, also anti-virus needs to be off.

tamaroa, here is a link to the Silver Light Forums. Maybe you can find an answer in there somewhere. Without knowing exactly what is happening in the RTG's and silver Light, I am of no help. Ok for real, even if I knew what was going on, I probably couldn't help with Silver Light. <a href="http://forums.silverlight.net/" >http://forums.silverlight.net/</a> As far as your Rival issue, you say your cannot download any Rivals. Do you mean install them or download them? There is a difference. At what point do you get the 49930048 error? What OS are you using? What browser are you using? I use AVG also and I have no issues with it. I never need to disable it.

had the same issue and had to disable my anti virus by right clicking the icon by my clock then download and enable your anti  virus again...simple!

Are you downloading the file (saving it to your hard drive) and getting the error or are you installing the casino and getting the error."

Either way, what I would do is look for the folders on your hard drive for the various RIVAL casinos and delete them. Most likely you will find them in the Program Files folder. "

What happens when you click save and choose your desktop? Try to give us exact details, step by step.  For example............ 1. I click save and choose my desktop and this happens. 2. I choose run and the download/installation starts but this happens. I hate to sound demanding (lol) but it's really hard to walk a person through PC issues without exact error messages and at what exact moment. I'm not saying I am a PC guru at all but I did do some over the phone tech support for a big software company years back. And I will tell you that there were times I wanted to ask if they still had the box for their PC. And if they would have said yes I would have told them they needed to step away from the PC, box it up and take it back to the store. That was a funny tamaroa. Not directed to you at all. And if I have no more suggestions, other members may if they have all the details.

Problem on downloading or playing in browser? try to use mozilla or chrome. If the problem is still there, try to turn off any firewall security program or any program that handle firewall connection.

I had a similar problem when I was still using Windows.  Tools/Options/Internet Optionsusually if the Internet Options was set on default it would work for me.  Good Luck.

I click save and choose my desktop and this happens.I then open and click run........get the same error code for all rivals and all rival suort says is turn off your firewall/anti virus and I have done that.....grrrrrrrrr.....no luckI think my computer saves it wrong?  Ive tried to save it on desktop, my computer and my documents.   ?????????????????

#1 type of internet connection you use broadban, wireless broadban fire wire etc etc"
#2 type of anti virus software ie Nortan ,or the crappy free ones lol"
#3 Go to my computer and right click on it at bottom is propertys click that and tell me what serice pack you are using also speed and amount of ram
